just a question: how come your replies on this and your other site (and all interviews) are so cryptic? Offer your fans more

Hello Anonymous..
(why do you hide your name, and not offer your true identity?) ;)

oookay now.
It isn't fair to say I am cryptic about my replies (or direct it to ALL interviews). As to here, I assure you - there REALLY isn't anything interesting I am currently working on (that is of anything related or relevant).

But if you MUST insist on knowing-
Since we are heading for April, I am preparing my TAXES.
And for the past 2-3 months, I had a few commercial work, which I've posted elsewhere (before I decided to park a space here - just for this matter).
Last week, I had to back-up/ clear out over 40GB of disk space, b/c my computer was crashing every 5 minutes.
Until the end of this month, I will be helping a good friend with her website, and HOPEFULLY by April (if I am free from corporate america), I can get back to working on some of my more "personal" work. Whether it's for fun or in comics, which I don't get to share much in public - b/c other than limited time, mainly due to it's constant undergoing development - most people alike will agree, wish to keep some aspect of it under the pillow (or until comfortable enough with it's outcome).

I promise you, I am in no way being disrespectful or unappreciative of your questioning - nor hiding jack shit. Nor am I building mass destruction in destroying our universe (our president alone is doing that just fine).

I only wished I had 42 hours in a day & had your uncle pay my bills. ^_^
A cook would be nice, and maybe have someone sort the laundry... feed the dog... run my bath...
But I am not here to whine & complain about daily life.

Therefore, I only kindly ask for your patience in return. :)

I found your work through Ashley Woods terrific Swallow series, hope you get a Sparrow book too. God I'd love to have that on my shelf.

Anyway, just wanted to say your work is amazing. Very sexy stuff. Love the Doberman pic on your site!

I am wondering if you have done any comic internals, or if you have any plans to do some comic internals?(again I just found out about you a few months ago, seems like mostly ad work) I would love to see your art in comics. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

> sail : You mean sequentials (comic interiors)?
I wish I can say YES and have something to be proud of.. but unfortunately, I haven't had the full opportunity to work on anything completed. I'm hoping & hopeful. Would love to get this going very soon.
As for Sparrow - not too clear on what's happening there. You might want to check with IDW/Ash.

Yes, sequentials is what I meant. As for Sparrow, I hope you get your own little book, and I hope you get to do some sequentials soon.

Hi ©,
You are very talented. You got me inspired to go out
and learn Corel Painter. Which particular brush do you
use to apply color. Do you use any other computer
application for your work?

> MD30: Hello. I use PSD7/cs alot more than w/Painter. But on some pcs, it's usually the watercolor brush. There isn't a "set" tool/specific. Hope this helps. :)
